20th Annual Blue Springs Rotary Raffle
Click here to download registration form
The Blue Springs Rotary Club is holding its 20th Annual Raffle on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Adams Pointe Conference Center in Blue Springs. This is the only money-making project the Blue Springs Rotary Club conducts each year and would appreciate your support. The proceeds of this charitable event stay right here in Blue Springs and Eastern Jackson County as the club donates funds to not-for-profit organizations such as Community Service League, Hope House, Rainbow Center, YMCA, the Blue Springs School of Economics and many other worthwhile organizations. In addition, it allows the club to sponsor four (4) annual scholarships awarded to graduating seniors from the Blue Springs, Blue Springs South, Grain Valley and Valley high schools. Over the past 13 years, the Blue Springs Rotary Club has been able to contribute over $500,000 in these endeavors.
This is a well-attended, casual event that provides ticket holders an opportunity to win up to $25,000 to be used towards the purchase of a new vehicle from Molle Chevrolet. Included with the ticket purchase is a buffet dinner, silent aution items, soft drinks and beer as well as the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other community members in this suspense-packed and fun-filled evening.
Please give this request careful consideration as many of these not-for-profit organizations are being inundated with need requests from people throughout the community. Many of them are being unmet because of the lack of funding and the increased demands for services in these uncertain economic times.
Please complete the bottom section of the flyer below and mail back to the address provided. Feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like additional information. I would also be more than happy to stop by and pick up the completed flyer along with your donation if that is more convenient. Thanks again for your financial support -- it is appreciated!
Sincerely,
Jay E. Dorst
